Setting up your equipment

Equipment covers the physical trucks, trailers and other units your own fleet dispatches — added once from Equipment Entry so they’re available to assign to a trip.

Adding a unit

Give each piece of equipment an identifying name or registration and assign it a vehicle class, which is what drives its cost-per-kilometre and cost-per-hour when a trip using it completes.

Tracking carrying units

If your company tracks which specific truck and trailer combination ran a trip, rather than just which driver, equipment records are what make that visible on the trip and on the load sheets your dock prints.
