A subcontractor is a carrier you hand freight to instead of running it yourself — set up as its own record with contact details, ready to be offered a tender.

Pricing what you owe them

A subcontractor rate agreement works the same way a customer rate agreement does, just in reverse: it prices what you pay the carrier for a lane, rather than what you charge a customer.

From tender to payable

Once a subcontractor is set up, you can tender orders to them from the Allocations board; as the tender progresses to completion, a payable is generated automatically using their rate agreement.
