Setting up route cards

A route card is a saved template for a lane you run often — the same origin, destination and freight profile, ready to reuse instead of re-entering every detail on a new order.

When to use one

If your team books the same regular run — a daily metro delivery loop, a weekly interstate linehaul — creating a route card for it means Order Entry can prefill most of the order from the template.

Keeping them current

Route cards don’t automatically follow changes to your rate cards or zones — review them periodically, especially after a pricing update, so a saved template doesn’t quietly lock in a stale rate.
