Setting up order profiles

An order profile stores default freight and handling details for a customer or lane — cartons, pallets, special instructions, temperature requirements — so Order Entry can prefill them instead of your team re-typing the same values on every shipment.

What it saves you

For a customer who always ships the same way — always frozen, always on a tail-lift, always the same weight range — a profile turns Order Entry from a blank form into a quick confirm-and-go.

Profiles vs. route cards

An order profile is about the freight itself; a route card is about the lane. Use one, the other, or both — a route card can reference an order profile’s defaults for the freight side of a repeat run.
