Setting up address zones

An address zone groups a set of postcodes or suburbs into one named region — metro Sydney, regional Victoria, and so on — so your rate rules can price a whole lane at once instead of one address pair at a time.

Building a zone

Add postcodes or suburbs to a zone from Address Zone Entry; a place only needs to fall inside a zone once for every rate rule using that zone to apply to it.

Where zones matter most

Zones are what make zone-based rating possible: a rate rule priced Metro Sydney to Regional Victoria only works because both ends are defined as zones first. Set your zones up before you build rate cards that depend on them.
