The Allocations board is where unassigned order legs turn into planned movements. Legs sit on the left, showing their weight, cube and space requirements; drag them onto a trip or tender on the right to assign them.

Trips vs. tenders

A trip is a movement you run with your own fleet — a driver and vehicle you dispatch and track. A tender is the same movement handed to a subcontracted carrier: you record who it’s offered to and its status, from open through confirmed, in transit and completed, and Kahala TMS keeps the underlying order legs and their invoicing and payable readiness in sync automatically as the tender progresses.

Utilisation at a glance

As you drag legs onto a trip or tender, the board shows running totals for pallets, cube and weight against that vehicle’s capacity, so you can see at a glance when a run is full, before you’ve committed a driver to an overloaded truck.
